If you run any kind of business, you need customers, or your business dies. Simple rule.
I love most of my customers. They are wonderful people, I have gotten to know many of them. We have had customers who have died and we have mourned them, not as lost revenue, but as lost friends. We have celebrated births, engagements, weddings, you name it, and we feel like we are celebrating with our own family members. But you will always have those ones, you know the ones, that you hope you will never see again.
When we opened for the first time, we figured out quite quickly why the restaurant my husband worked in didn’t succeed. The owners friends didn’t pay. And he had lots of friends.
